Chiropractic care is a healthcare practice focused on diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal issues, particularly those involving the spine. It is based on the idea that spinal alignment affects the function of the nervous system and overall health. Chiropractors use hands-on techniques—most commonly spinal adjustments or manipulations—to improve mobility, reduce pain, and support the body’s natural healing processes. While many people seek chiropractic care for back pain, neck pain, and headaches, it is also used more broadly for enhancing physical function and wellbeing. Research shows benefits for certain types of musculoskeletal pain, though evidence varies by condition, and chiropractic care is generally considered a complementary approach within the broader healthcare landscape.

Dr. Wendy found her passion for chiropractic after seeking solutions for chronic headaches at age 25. A friend had suggested Chiropractic adjustments. After 2 weeks of adjustments, Dr. Wendy’s headaches were gone.

She became interested in learning about the body’s own ability to heal itself. Wendy learned about nutrition, healthy eating, and other natural ways to heal the body. Chiropractic adjustments became a part of her wellness care.

It was many years later that Wendy was inspired to go to Chiropractic College and become a Doctor of Chiropractic. Her previous career as a Social Worker, working in settings such as Public Assistance and Nursing Homes, helped her understand that pain and poor health has a negative effect on people’s quality of life. Becoming a Chiropractor was a natural choice as she has always enjoyed working with others to help them improve their lives. Graduating from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, CA in 2004, Dr. Wendy opened her own practice in 2005.

While in chiropractic College, she learned about a specialty chiropractic technique called NetworkSpinal. This gentle technique was invented and is taught by Donny Epstein, D.C. Dr. Wendy has experienced a transformation in her personal and professional life through NetworkSpinal and other modalities taught by Donny Epstein. She continues to study and improve her skill at NetworkSpinal. Dr. Wendy is certified at the highest level, Master E, in NetworkSpinal and has also participated in Donny Epstein’s AlchemE training. Her passion is to share the miracles of NetworkSpinal and Chiropractic adjustments with you.
